Q1: After reading it doesn't give you much information to go off of. I personally think that Jim needs to have certain qualities in order to make him a successful project manager. What I have gotten so far from reading chapter 3 Jim would need the ability to adapt to technical problems or software and solve any problems that might occur. He would have to overall have great communication skills with his team and his customers.He would also need todisplay the ability to resolve conflicts by handling them professionally and proficiently.

Q1: I think that Ella as the COO should reinforce to Jim how important his role is to the team in the project and what she is expecting out of him moving forward with the project.Ella should always find ways to motivate her entire team and Jim so that her team's productivity would always increase and her team would always be effective when completing projects they have in future. Ella needs to realize by adding more pressure to Jim it could cause anxiety that would only hinder his leadership role as it could pressure his mindsetto force people to make rash decisions as opposed to intelligent ones, and it could possibly cause risks within the project.

Q2: Jim would need to realize that although having Carmen Sanchez on the team could provide the rest of his teamwith healthy insight and expertise, her constant and current workload may prohibit her abilities from taking on any major roles on the team because her time to help him would be very limited.The only real strategic options he has with her on the team is acquiring any knowledge she might have that could help and make sure when she was there that her scheduling to be set in a manner that allows for her participate and not have to postpone that could hurt the team if they depend too much on her for things.

Q3: If I were an employee at Petrie's Electronics, I personally feel that I could handle this project based solely off of my prior experience with being on project teams and working with project managers in the past. I have personally done data analysis while I was in the Marine Corps on Excel spreadsheets. I also have experience with MS Project so I could help organize the project by inserting the deliverables, milestones, team members, resources, wages, hours, and overall costs of the project. I could also assist in creating a charter, risk assessment, and much more.

Q4: The scope statement overall is a very well put together charter of the project giving you the names of top management involved in the project. It provided a timeline and gave you ideal of what their objectives were. What I would change to it is I would how the team plans to complete each objective with a brief summary on how the plan to complete each one. I would also go into any tools, resources, or materials needed to complete the project so that the team could see what we would need to complete the project. I would probably do a better job at assigning team members to certain roles on the scope so that they know what is expected of them before signing the scope.

Q5: As forthe tangible costs that are expected you would expect things like software,hardware, labor, and materials. When thinking about what the intangible costs could be it would have to be employee morale and operational inefficiency due to what we talked about with Jim and the unnecessary pressure that Ella is putting on him to make this project goes perfectly. The overall purpose of the project "No Customer Escapes" relies on there being an enhanced consumer base. The only hitch or risk that could be consider as an intangible benefit for this project would be Petrie's Electronics gets a larger customer base derived from Jim's newly implemented system him and his team created if not the entire project would be for nothing.
