Problem

Part I

i. The Civil Rights movement is a response to American Terrorism against African-Americans for the past 250 years. I wonder if Dr. King realized his work and movement will have a huge impact on American History.

ii. Note the Civil Rights Movement started in the Harlem Renaissance, and the exposure of hatred became a focal point of the movement, that being said, why did Southern states block many of Dr. King's movements and marches?

iii. The Civil Rights Movement and Dr. King's movement was Church-ed-centered movement. I wonder what was the role of the church and the Civil Rights movement.

iv. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 & Voting Rights Act of 1965, began the dismantling of Jim Crow laws. How important is it to have a society free of Discrimination?

Part II

i. Recall our latest foreign policy, The War on Terror. which has created a smaller faction's terrorist groups than in the past and had continued to pose a threat to America. I wonder if we are making any inroads in the War on Terror or are we creating more enemies against America.

ii. Given the recent attacks in New Zealand, France, and England, how safe is the world today? Given all the recent terror attacks, do you believe that we making progress in defeating ISIS and other terrorist groups?

iii. Why does the rest of the world hate us? Is it our foreign policy, or government interfering with the affairs of other countries, or just because we have democracy and freedom?

iv. Have we been successful in any of our foreign policy objectives in part of the world? Or have we caused more problems? e.g. Iraq and Afghanistan?
