How important is exercise across the lifespan


Problem 1: Do you think we remain basically the same person throughout our entire lives or are we capable of change?  Relatedly, do we have free will?

Problem 2: How important is exercise across the lifespan?  Relatedly, children do not exercise enough and probably not as much as previous generations.  Why are children not exercising as much as previous generations?  What do you think can be done about this? 

Problem 3: We have also discussed diet in a couple of the chapters.  Children's diets seem to not be as balanced as in previous generations either.  Why is the quality of children's diets on the decline?  What can be done about this?

Problem 4: What are your thoughts on Piaget's theories?  Feel free to discuss anything you agree with or disagree with.
