The humanities is a broad subject that includes many branches of human creation. These creations all come together to make up our culture. Everything that is not part of our natural world was constructed by humans and contributes to culture. This includes everything from our clothing, furniture, and homes to the music we listen to and the episodes and films we watch. Even our laws and our religious beliefs are part of the humanities!
Initial Post: Consider the ways in which you engage with the humanities in your daily life. In one to two paragraphs, address the following questions:
• How have the humanities shaped your specific culture?
• How might studying the humanities help you pursue your career goals?
• What are some of the benefits of learning about humanities?
The response must include a reference list. Using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, double-space, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
