II. Compare and contrast the historical and post-1965 waves of Asian immigration to the U.S. What characteristics define the historical Asian immigrants from the contemporary Asian immigrants? Explain the immigration history of how they came to the U.S. and the contributions of two historical groups: Chinese, Japanese, Filipino, Asian Indian, and Koreans.
