Consider a change initiative that you have some familiarity with. As you think of this initiative, consider the following.

i. How good were you at handling unanticipated outcomes? How could you have improved in this area?

ii. How would you rate yourself in terms of your handling of the need to take actions that sustain change? What would you consider that you did well? What not so well?

iii. When you have been on the receiving end of the change initiatives of others, how well have they handled the need to take actions that sustain change? What have they done well? What not so well?

iv. Again, considering the initiative from above, are you more comfortable using rich communication media (face to face) or leaner media (email)? Do you adopt different forms of communication depending on the type or stage of change? If so, which ones? With which communication media have you had the most success? Why?
