Problem: Use knowledge of the Minstrel Era (essentially post-1830 to 1920+) to respond to the following:
Articulate how geography and regional differences impacted the past. In other words, how did 'geography' (in this case north, south, and even urban) intersect during this period?
Present a timeline of the Minstrel era. That skeletal timeline should be culled from materials presented in modules 2 through 4, including videos and readings by Saxton, Herring and Bennett. It should reflect three or four shifts in Minstrel performance.
