• Do you think it is important that parents discuss gender roles with their young children, or is gender a topic better left for later?
• How "gendered" were the toys and activities available to you? Do you remember gender expectations being conveyed through the approval or disapproval of your playtime choices?
• Since deviance is culturally defined, most of the decisions we make are dependent on the reactions of others, Is there anything the people in your life encourage you to do that you don't? Why don't you?
