Problem: Please pick one facet of culture that you think is significant and interesting, and locate three "case studies" in which this aspect of culture manifests in unique and interesting ways in terms of communication. Possible aspects of culture for your consideration: gender, social class, race/ethnicity, national identity, etc.
By way of example, let's say I am interested in how gender impacts cultural communication. And let's say I want to look at gender and communication in rural American communities, suburban American communities, and urban American communities. I may want to talk about these various cultural situations in which women experience communication differently. I am curious if family, work, and social modes of discourse differ for these three "types" of women.
