How fast it will be rotating


The company you work for (and you love this job and want to keep it) needs reliable information on the speed of its product when the product rolls without slipping down a hill with a vertical drop of 25 m. That is, what will the be speed at the bottom of the hill? The product is generally shaped like and rolls like a disk, but with a moment of inertia given by I = 0.836 x M x R 2 where M is the mass in kg (differing for various models) and R is the rolling radius in m (also differing for various models). You are assigned to prepare a report on how fast the product will be moving at the bottom of the hill, and how fast it will be rotating, in SI units for both. Include in your report the speeds and rotation speeds for the following models:

(a) the Alpha with M = 10 kg, R = 0.4 m,

(b) the Beta with M = 20 kg, R = 0.7 m and the Infinity with M = 1,000 kg and R = 3.4 m.
