How explain the variation in the highly gendered data

Problem

Imagine that you are visiting a hospital and you notice that the jobs are divided by gender. Men are often physicians, while most of the nurses are women. How would theorists from the three perspectives (interactionist, structuralist, socialization « social roles and learning ») explain these data, and What would each theorist focus on?

How would they explain the variation in these highly gendered data, and indeed, how gender comes to exist in society?

For better understanding if possible i would be very appreciative if you guys could touch on "gender roles" in the socialization section, "doing gender" in the interactionist section and "Joan Acker" in the structuralist section.
