How entire country can go to war against the chicano people

Question 1: Explain to me how an entire country can go to war against the Chicano people and the Mexican American/American Mexican community, and no one thinks it is wrong, even to this day.

  • This is not taught in our schools, discussed as an injustice, or even a blip on the narrative of racism or prejudice when others speak of such topics.

Question 2: Deportation, rape, and land theft have become our new normal, but why has the American government never answered, addressed, apologized, or spoken of reparations for these actions but for other groups it has?

  • Remember, policies and task forces address it for others across this nation but nothing for the Chicano People, Mexican Americans, or American Mexicans.

Question 3: Our narrative is confronting police brutality, challenging educational reform, and confronting inequality, yet we fail to have it presented to us or be included. It seems that story of strength, power, and community empowerment is one we had/have, but we don't seem to be presented to us in our homes or schools:

  • Why are these direct action individuals that came from our communities not told to us, but we learn of "American" heroes and African American/Black heroes?
