Survey research designs provide an organizing framework for survey research studies. Selection of a specific survey design needs to match not only the goals of a study, but the characteristics of the population as well. Survey designs also must be empirically justified. When researchers introduce a particular survey design, part of the empirical justification includes citing studies that have used similar designs, ideally with great success.
You should be working on a literature review on the topic (how employees are adjusting back to work on site post telework in COVID19 pandemic) you plan to use for your Research Proposal in preparation for this week's Application Assignment.
