By the numbers. Using data from The Survey of Current Business or other public sources, find the ratio of government consumption to GDP for the current year and for the previous 20 years. How has it changed? Using the same source, which areas of government spending have shown the most increase? How else might you try to measure changes in the economic importance of government relative to private activity?
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
