You will choose and analyze a current issue/trend related to early childhood educational programming based on the research you have done on this topic. Using your research, and discussion you will write a 3 to 5 page paper.
Your paper should include a discussion on the issue or trend you chose and how this issue or trend has emerged and developed over time.
You will include an analysis of how educational theory has affected this issue or trend.
In addition, you will include an analysis of how professional ethics can affect this topic. This section needs to reflect ethical decision making that an early childhood professional would need to use based on the chosen topic. The NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct and Statement of Commitment is a document that outlines how early childhood providers can ensure that their work with children and families is always based on ethical practices. You will use this resource to discuss how the decision making with your topic is based on ethical practice guidelines.
