Generally, all citizens of the United States would like to ensure that everyone has an equal opportunity to succeed in our country. However,
individuals disagree with the best way to go about doing so.
For a discussion post we need to give an example of a controversial policy issue within education policy and equality and explain the opposing viewpoints on the policy.
Also how does understanding the different world view of someone who disagrees with you make debate and discussion more productive?
For example, in class we are discussing how local governments give a lot more funding to schools in wealthy neighborhoods and less funding to schools in poorer neighborhoods.
