Problem: Linear Regression
Select data from the Internet and use linear regression to answer a question you select.
For example:
1. How does the number of hours spent studying relate to final exam scores for a group of students?
2. How does the size of a house (in square feet) relate to its sale price?
3. How does the age of a car relate to its price?
4. How does the number of rooms in a house relate to its rental price?
5. How does the weight of a person relate to their blood pressure?
6. How does the thickness of a material relate to its strength?
7. How does the number of hours spent exercising per week relate to life expectancy?
Procedure to follow:
a) Select a topic
b) Find a small data set related to the topic (from the lectures or the Internet), if it is big try to select a sample of it
c) Solve the problem using the code presented in the lecture
d) Present your results as numbers, a graph, ...etc.
e) Submit all related files.
