5. On a related note, there are several genetic diseases/conditions related to people having an abnormal number of sex chromosomes (but they generally only have the physical organs of one sex). Some examples are X, XXX, XXXX, XXY, XYY, XXYY. (Notice there isn't a Y all by itself? That's because there are genes necessary for life found on the X chromosome, so humans can't live without an X.):
