Essay Problem
Write a well-organized essay that identifies the theme you believe the author conveys through the novel. In your writing, be sure to address the questions/statements below.
1) How does the author use one of these literary elements -- characterization, conflict, setting, tone, point of view, OR symbolism to establish the theme?
2) Choose two literary devices from the Teal Terms that the author uses.
3) Find two quotes for each literary device. Use this evidence from the text to support your analysis.
4) In your commentary explain how each of the literary device quotes support your literary element to establish the theme.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
