This documentary covers the issue of vaccine hesitation/refusal among parents of small children. What 'cohort effect' (the experiences that people of different ages have) do you see re: people's view of and concerns about vaccines, as well as the diseases they address? How does our more individualistic culture affect how parents approach the questions/concerns surrounding vaccines? How might this be different for parents in a more collectivistic culture? How does understanding the difference between correlation and causation affect a person's ability to adequately assess the risks and benefits of vaccinations? Give specific examples.
