I. Data is collected from a huge variety of sources. Social Media, World Wide Web, cameras, satellites, counters, valves, pumps, scales, pressure meters, thermometers, government agencies, banks, purchases, surveys, and so much more.
i. Ethically, what do you think about data collection in this new decade?
ii. Base your thoughts on several modules from the course, including our assignments and online discussions, and discuss the risks involved with this. How might this much data benefit you personally, and then humankind in general? Take it further by expressing your ideas on how to handle workplace data collection. What about the data you are responsible for keeping as an accountant?
