2) [Primary Source related question] Based on the primary sources assigned in this course, compare Lincoln's positions on all issues potentially related to slavery in 1858 and 1861. Be as specific as possible.
3) [Op-ed related question] For Nov 29's class, two pieces of commentaries on the 1619 Projects were assigned. One is "I Helped Fact-Check the 1619 Project..." by Leslie Harris in 2020. The other one is "The 1619 Project started as history..." by Carlos Lazada in 2021. Peruse the two pieces, and answer the following questions:
a) How does each piece evaluate the project as a whole?
b) What mistakes or insufficiencies exist in the project, as each piece points out?
c) What's at stake behind the debates around the 1619 Project, according to each author?
