Question 1: Why is the osmotic rate of 1 molal urea so much less that of a molal sucrose?
Question 2: How does diffusion of solute though the membrane affect osmosis? why?
Question 3: How could a simple osmometer be used to estimate the molecular weight of an unknown non-penetrating solute?
Could someone help to explain the answer of these questions.
