Problem:
Question: How does ATP-?-S (ATP-gamma-S) affect ATP synthesis and Proton motive force (PMF) in cells growing aerobically on glucose?
I think this won't affect ATP production, because ATP gamma S binds to ATP binding site, but there is no binding site for ATP, but for ADP+Pi. Proton still can flow through ATP synthase and ADP and Pi still can be bonded.
Am I wrong? Please explain!
