Problem
Making connections between points made in the Robinson video and what you read in the Zinn chapter. How do Robinson's points about the real reason for the Civil War, Lincoln's racism and our cotton based economy and dependence on slave labor relate to Zinn's points about our imperialist designs on the world. How does all of this derive from "the twin drives of capitalism and nationalism"? Does this connect up to United States' historical belief in and dependence upon white supremacy? Use something from the video and the Zinn chapter to back up your position. Use some quotations in your response to support your points.
