Defining Age
The purpose of this first Discussion Board is to get you thinking about age a little differently than before. There are just a few questions I would like you to answer.
1. What age do you consider old?
2. What age do you consider young?
3. What parameters or measurements are you using to arrive at these designations?
4. How are certain age groups stigmatized? That is, what negative labels, notions or stereotypes do we attach to young people or old people?
5. How do you view quantity vs. quality of life? Is there an age you want to live to no matter what?
