Watch the following film: Slavery by Another Name.
Afterwards, write a reflection paper (essay format) of at least 350 words that addresses the following prompts:
1. What is the film about? Summarize it.
2. Based on your understanding of the text and the information covered in the film, what issues were central to the various manifestations of the convict lease system?
3. Identify three things covered in the film that you did not see in the text.
4. How do you see issues of race and class operating in both the text and the film? Are there issues of gender? Identify those, as well.
5. What is your general reaction to the film? Were you affected by it? Why or why not?
