Homework: Essay Proposal
Develop a short paragraph for each of the following items as they relate to the another attached, Please use this sequence as the format for your proposal and include the headers.
1) Briefly describe the homework in your own words.
2) What questions do you have about the homework? (If you don't have any, just say so.)
3) What is your topic?
4) What is your thesis?
5) How do you plan to organize the paper so that one section flows into the next?
6) What are some sources you plan to use? How do you plan to use them?
7) What are one or two goals you have for your writing in this paper?
a) For each goal, Describe what you see in your writing, identify the work you plan to do to improve that quality of your writing, explain how you will do that work.
b) Example: I've noticed that I tend to write very long paragraphs. On this paper, I plan to work on keeping the paragraphs shorter and more focused by looking for places where paragraphs shift their focuses, creating a new paragraph at that point, and writing a transition that ties the two together.
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
