What makes this story gothic? Name at least one characteristic. How do you know the narrator in this story is unreliable? What do you think the narrator is really hearing at the end of the story? What makes you think so? Can you think of any contemporary stories/TV shows/movies that are similar to this story,or that draw on the same themes?
