How do women shape American society in their roles as workers, social and political reformers, and intellectuals?
Think about the new organizations women formed, the technological advances, labor organizations and the race and gender politics of this era to explain how women influenced American society immediately after the American Civil War and leading up to the historical era labeled the Gilded Age.
