How do we know that you define the "lusts of the flesh" in a biblical and not merely a cultural way? And, if I may challenge you gently, "split-level" Christianity does not have to do with sin per se, but with an admixture of Christian and host culture or religion. Can you be more specific about what you deem sinful (and why)? What do you see in the Church that is American but not Christian, for example.?
