Discussion Post: Business Travel
Business communication differs from culture to culture. For example, cultures high in power distance often have rigid role expectations. In a medical setting, this would result in very brief patient consultations with medical providers.
Respond to the following in a minimum of 175 words:
a) What are some common intercultural communication considerations an American should consider when travelling abroad for a business meeting?
b) What considerations should differ based on the type of business being conducted, such as health care, education, and global business?
c) How do those considerations vary in different countries?
