Anticipating Risk
"Look both ways before crossing the street." "Don't run with scissors in your hands." These cautionary statements are meant to warn us about potential dangers or risks in the things we do. They urge us to watch carefully and monitor our environment. Monitoring is something that can help us "see" risk before it happens. Not everyone monitors the same way and some don't monitor at all.
