Paper Assignment: Management
You are to write a 3 to 6 pages paper. For your paper, you will write about a 25-year-old lady named Ms. Canady.
You will use the following background on Ms. Canady to write you paper. Ms. Canady has a great personality. She is caring, open-minded, and willing to learn. Ms. Canady recently became the head supervisor at her dad's company. Because she has inherited the position, she became a little big headed. As a leader some of her struggles include communicating efficiently, micromanaging her staff, and being hard on herself. Due to Ms. Canady working for her father, she wants to show her father that she can I manage a team. She must overcome these negative traits in order to become the manager she aspires to be. In my research paper I will go through the different trials she will encounter and how she will learn how to take a step back and be able to trust her employees.
Ensure you address the following topics in your paper:
• Describe the personality of your character (this is to help the reader understand the challenges your leader faces).
• How did your character develop their management traits?
• Identify three management traits that the leader possesses, and explain why they are necessary to a successful manager.
• How you can develop each skill or trait in your own life? Training, education, experience, etc. - but be specific (if you create goals they should be SMART).
• What are the possible disadvantages of having these traits?
• How have you seen the selected traits utilized effectively in your own experiences in life?
• How can you market the traits (for this I would like to see resume bullets for each of the traits)? - Put yourself in your character's shoes, as if they were writing a resume.
• How do you relate to your character? Could you be managed by him/her/it?
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
• The answer must be using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, typed, with one-inch margins on all sides.
• The response also includes a cover page containing the student's name, the title of the assignment, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
• Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
