Problem
How did war and/or colonialism affect the experiences of people across national borders in Asia and the Pacific world in the first half of the twentieth century? Focus on either (i) a specific context in which war or colonialism affected the experiences of displaced people; or (ii) the impact of wartime violence on people's lives. In addition to your class notes, please analyze two of the following sources:
