A. How did the United States become involved the Vietnam War and what were the results? Why did American public, which supported the war in the early 1960s, turn against it during the late 1960s?
B. Why did figures such as Supreme Court William Rehnquist, Jerry Falwell and Phyllis Schafly disagree with the 1973 Supreme Court decision Roe v. Wade on abortion and the proposed Equal Rights Amendment (ERA)? What sorts of reasons did they cite for their opposition to causes that other Americans viewed as an expansion of rights?
