How did the ideas compare with past thoughts or discussion

Homework: U.S. History Paper

Chose the women's suffrage movement/women's rights in 1970-1980.

The goal of this final paper is to analyze a particular topic of your choice from the 1970s-1980s and chart its development over time. For example, if you chose women's rights to look at, then your essay would spend time discussing how that issue manifested in the 1970s-1980s and then examine its earlier origins, occurrences, or relevant trends from the past -- such as the women's suffrage movement.

Your paper must be able to address how concerns around your chosen topic changed over time -- what were people thinking about during the 1970s and 1980s? How did those ideas compare/contrast with past thoughts or discussion on that topic? Which groups of people were involved? How does understanding what has changed over the years help to better appreciate your topic?

Your essay must incorporate relevant primary sources from the time periods that you are going to be looking at. If you successfully completed the "1970s-1980s Primary Source Selection" homework, then you are off to a good start. If you did NOT identify any primary sources in that homework, then you still need to think about documents or media that you can incorporate.

Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:

a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
