• How did the health care system fail Lewis and his family?
• What can we, as nurse leaders, learn from the Lewis Blackman Story?
• As a health care leader, describe strategies/approaches to effectively address medical errors as described in this story about Lewis Blackman, e.g. teamwork and communication.
