1. Spend some time analyzing images of aging that surround us in popular culture. What are the messages about aging that are seen in tv ads, magazines, birthday cards? Overall, what is the message about aging that comes from these images?
2. How did the couple in the video portray the images of aging? How is this similar or different from the images that you addressed in your analysis (answer to Q#1 above).
3. How do ageist images of older adults have negative outcomes for older adults themselves? How does these negatively impact younger generations?
