Using ProQuest, find three primary-source newspaper articles from African-American newspapers about Washington, DuBois, Garvey, OR Baldwin. Include the dates of the article corresponding to the historical time period in which your Black male intellectual was active and influential. Relying on your primary-source newspaper articles as evidence to the following series of questions: How did the Black press view the Black male intellectual who is the subject of the articles? Was it positive, negative, or in between? Did the articles express different or similar viewpoints? Make sure your analytical response is based on evidence from your articles.
