In your paper, compare these two paintings: The Discovery of Pulque (1869) by José Obregón, and Abaporu (1928) by Tarsila do Amaral. What has changed in the composition (the style, subject, colors, vantage point of the viewer, depth of the image, the “realism” of the image) from one painting to the other?
