How did it contribute to the way you were socialized

Question: Religion is what sociologists call an "agent of socialization," meaning it is one lens through which we learn to see the social world. If certain social classes are being socialized through religion to view society in a particular way, how do you think that might set off the balance of morality in our country and around the world? This about your own religious--or lack thereof-- upbringing. How did it contribute to the way you were/are socialized? Can you use Durkheim's concepts to describe what you learned for this week?
