Imagine that you own a small business in London, Ontario which sells hardware specific to the gardening industry. This would include hand tools such as rakes and shovels, as well as small, motorized equipment such as rotor tillers and lawn mowers. You offset declining sales in the winter by selling snowblowers and snow shovels.
Your research has shown that your primary appeal to your customers is your understanding of the challenges faced by gardeners and landscapers in London and area. This includes your knowledge of appropriate methods of dealing with problems particular to this area, such as drainage, irrigation and increasingly complex weather patterns caused by climate change.
