Evidence-based practice (EBP) projects are the basis of medical practice. EBP is the reason why such projects produce statistically significant results. There is also a distinction between clinical and statistical significance (Gillani, 2011). Clinical significance refers to the ability of treatment to allow a patient to return to normal physical functioning status.
