Discussion Post: Paradigms of Human Services
Social Scientists often wrestle with paradigms (also understood as theoretical models) shifting in meaning over time. Choose a topic in the field of Human Services and explain the nature of a paradigm related to the area you've chosen to research:
1) Introduce your problem/topic and the paradigm(s) dominating the approach(es) used in Human Services.
2) In what ways are the paradigm(s) useful? How can they contribute to improving Human Services?
3) In what ways may paradigms constrain, or limit, knowledge related to your topic.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
