How can teachers reconcile the time they give initially to teaching and practicing routines rather than to teaching academic content?
Critics of Jones's incentive systems do not like the idea of "bribing" students to work and behave well, which they are supposed to do anyway. (This same complaint is made about behavior modification.) Why would you consider using incentives PAT as he suggests?
