Comment on the following scenario:
Air Lingus Group plc was floated in September 2006 through an IPO, that raised £335m. The shares offered were oversubscribed 3.8 times (for every share available 3.8 shares were sought by investors). The group planned to use much of the funds raised to expand operations mainly by investing in additional planes.
