How can large organizations' projects differ from small organizations' projects? How? Why?

Why are some kinds of workplace messages easier to write than others? Two basic purposes of communication are to give information and to request something. Giving information can be relatively easy in some situations and more difficult in others; likewise, some requests are easier to write than others. Why? Select an example from your own experience or from this week's readings to start our discussion of workplace writing.

Routine informative message are generally positive or neutral messages to which an audience is not expected to have a negative response. Some examples include workplace messages that announce new policies or those that communicate changes in procedures. Reflect on and then share an experience where you had to create a routine message or when you received a routine message that could have been improved. What was challenging about the communication situation?
