Assignment: Piktochart
We learned about lead-based paint and radon gas and the dangers each of these risks impose. Using the Piktochart website, create an infographic poster to discuss the following topic. Using the Piktochart guide , you will create one Piktochart on either lead-based paint or radon gas that covers the following elements.
• What is lead-based paint or radon gas, and where is it likely to be found within a residence?
• What are the health hazards and risk of lead-based paint or radon gas?
• How is a building assessed for lead-based paint or radon gas risk? What procedures should be followed to determine if the hazard exists?
• If there is a risk within a home or building, how are the risks mitigated or removed?
The textbook contains too much data to put on the infographic. Part of this assignment is to interpret the data to communicate what you decide is important. You may even want to manipulate the data (add some of the categories together, for example) to create a meaningful infographic. Your goal is to educate someone about lead-based paint or radon, why they should know the health risk, and what actions should be taken-all in one graphic. Be concise and creative!
