This term the supreme court will hear a case of a web designer who wishes to design websites for weddings and wants to refuse to provide services to gay couples. The designer seeks an exemption from colorado anti-discrimination law. The web designer argues that doing them to make a website for gay weddings is a violation of the first amendment. First, briefly state whether or not the Masterpiece case provides any guidance in reaching a conclusion for the web designer's case. Then, setting aside first amendment legal arguments please explain the public health impact of the Supreme Court creating a legal, constitutionally required exemption from anti-discrimination laws. In doing do you should at least briefly mention the Bostock case and how its impact may or may not be altered by such ruling.
